Strongly condemns the continued use of sexual violence against women as a weapon of war; stresses that more needs to be done to ensure respect of international law and access to psychological support for women and girls abused in conflicts; welcomes the fact that the Sakharov Prize 2014 was awarded to Dr Denis Mukwege for his commitment in the fight against sexual violence against women and calls on the EU, the Member States, international organisations, civil society to increase cooperation to raise awareness and combat impunity;
