Points out that an analysis and reform of social protection systems in the Member States must be framed in a gender equality perspective and include the individualisation of rights to social security, adapting social protection and services to the changing family structures and ensuring that social protection systems better counteract women's precarious situation and meet the needs of non-traditional and one-parent families;
