Supports citizens’ initiatives and non- governmental organisations, including those outside the EU, which are actively engaged in researching the history of nations and gathering documents on the crimes committed under totalitarianism and dictatorships, and supports transnational partnerships and networks with the aim of promoting mutual relations between EU citizens; supports, in that context, cooperation between Member States and countries covered by the European Neighbourhood Policy;
