Article 28 – paragraph 1 a (new)
Point 1(c) of Annex VII, Part II is replaced by the following: (c) have a total alcoholic strength of not more than 15 % volume. However, by way of derogation: - the upper limit for the total alcoholic strength may reach up to 20 % volume for wines which have been produced without any enrichment from certain wine- growing areas of the Union, to be determined by the Commission by means of delegated acts pursuant to Article 59(1); - for wines having a protected designation of origin and produced without any enrichment by the addition of sucrose, concentrated grape must or rectified concentrated grape must, the upper limit for the total alcoholic strength may be more than 15 % volume;
