Highlights the importance of creating a proper environment for start-ups by promoting a business and academic ecosystem in Europe empowered to connect entrepreneurs, to foster new projects and experience counsel; Calls on the complementarity of short and long term financing structures and a diversification of financing sources in line with the capital market union objective; Recognises the importance of reducing barriers in order for start-ups to fully and legally operate across the Single Market; Calls to strengthen support for the 'Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs' initiative."
