Considers that the scrutiny of Commissioners’ declarations of interests should remain the competence of the Committee on Legal Affairs, while the European Ombudsman should have the right to deliver an opinion; considers, however, that the current scope of Commissioners’ declarations of interests is too limited, and invites the Commission to revise its rules on this as soon as possible;
