8a. Notes that the European Green Deal as a new growth strategy for EU requires investments to fully support clean and circular economy. The forest and wood industry have huge potential to invest and contribute to clean and circular economy and create jobs in Europe. The availability of the sustainably sourced raw materials should be ensured and fostered by supportive and coherent policy framework for the all sectors involved.
