(ja) to welcome the statement made by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sooronbay Jeenbekov, on 13 August 2018, affirming that his country's strategic objectives are to strengthen its ties with the Eurasian Economic Union, the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO), Russia and China, because those objectives correspond to the country's geopolitical reality and will contribute to the international multilateralism that the European Union too wishes to see;
