3. Insists that the Protocol should be adapted to the Republic of Senegal’s needs and priorities; recommends, in this contextwith a view to enabling the Republic of Senegal to regain its fishing sovereignty and reduce its economic dependence on European aid, that the sectoral support component of the Protocol focus on the following priorities:
