Calls on the Member States to identify and support EU-wide initiatives that foster the use of the digital infrastructure (such as the elimination of roaming charges and access to Wi-Fi) and interoperability among different platforms; Notes the importance of intelligent transport systems (ITS) in providing accurate, real- time traffic and travel data for the development of integrated mobility services that would benefit the European tourism development;
