Calls for measures to improve and strengthen the provisions of Directive 2010/18/EU regarding the conditions of eligibility and detailed rules for granting parental leave to those who have children with a disability or serious or long-term incapacitating illness, taking account also of best practice in the Member States (extension of the age limit of the child regarding eligibility for parental or childcare leave, easier access to part-time work arrangements on return, extension of leave duration);
