Stresses the need to enhance teachers' and learners' motivation and opportunities to learn more about the EU through their own first-hand experience, such us visits to the European institutions, contacts with EU officials, traineeship opportunities for students within the EU institutions and through media education, such as the European Youth Portal, making full use of the new information and communication technologies and Open Educational Resources;
