Calls for a thorough assessment of the cost efficiency of the actions proposed in the energy sector, which should consider local conditions and the specific aspects of the various parts of the value chain and provide flexibility to the industry for their implementation; Calls on the Commission to consider the existing best practices in relation to LDAR as a starting point, allowing for flexible approaches across countries and within the value chain to take into consideration local conditions in order to ensure tailored action across the Union;
