Recognises that the problem is often not lack of funding but, rather, how funds are spent and what other resources are utilised; questions whethernotes that the Court of Auditors’ recommendations have not been fully implemented; calls for regular reviews of how funding from national governments through the EU and UN is spent; believes it is vital to utilise funds effectively, given their finite nature and the scale of the problems being faced; believes accountability is an essential part of this process; insists on a more thorough and transparent evaluation of PSOs supported by the EU;
