(aa) streamline and coordinate the Member States’ announced efforts to increase defence spending, avoiding uncoordinated actions that could further exacerbate fragmentation and duplication in the European Defence Industrial Base and in national defence spending, thus reducing national expenditure and making better use of taxpayers money, in order to reach the best level of consistency and impact for Europe’s collective security;
