Is encouraged by the progress made in the European telemedicine sector which has the power to fundamentally change the ability of those with disabilities to access services; further believes that the roll out of 4G technology, the rise of 5G and the spread of the Internet of Things will lead to improvements in healthcare provision for those with disabilities; calls on the Commission to ensure that the European health technology sector is not burdened by excessive regulation and also has adequate access to finance;
