Deplores the working conditions of many airline pilots who are forced to fly continuously for long periods without adequate breaks for rest and recuperation; notes that this is dangerous in terms of flight safety and may also detract from the general quality of service; urges that compliance with minimum social standards regarding working conditions be kept under constant review by the Commission and Member States;
