Stresses that more transparency ofin the cost of development and clinical trials is crucial in order to set a fair price; proportion of publicly funded research is needed, and that when assessing the total cost of a drug, it is necessary to take into account the costs for research and development, including research failures and clinical trials, and the whole pharmaceutical value chain;
