Recalls that the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) was established in order to contribute to, and strengthen, the promotion of gender equality between men and women in the Union; recalls that, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on gender equality, increased between men and women, adequate budget and human resources are needed for the EIGE to adequateduly carry out its functions;
