Recalls the importance of improving the quality of offers, and further underlines the need to extend the eligible age limit from 25 to 29 in order to better reflect the reality that many young graduates and labour market entrants are in their late ’twenties; points out that any extension to the age limit must be accompanied by a corresponding increase in funding;

7. Stresses the need to extend the YEI beyond 2020 and to secure adequate funding for the next MFF, taking account of real needs and the resources necessary for ensuring that the goals of the initiative are met, with a view to achieving sustainable results.
