Stresses that the Alpine region is delineated by many borders and that removing those barriers is a prerequisite for cooperation to work; points out that the EUSALP can also provide thean opportunity to strengthen cross-border cooperation, to forge links and networks between people and to eliminate existing borders and barriers for workers and economic activities, having regard also to the fact that there are many small firms in the Alpine region;
