Calls on the Commission to monitor the implementation of directives linked to the completion of the single market, particularly in the energy, banking, and transport sector, and to enhance the enforcement of EU competition rules in order to avoid uneven application thereof in the Member States; points out nonetheless that the energy grid is a network-based infrastructure requiring special treatment, also in order to enable and foster self-consumption;
