A quality contract for a traineeship must respect a quality framework offering the following guarantees: a traineeship must be governed by a contract in writing which must contain transparent information on the rights and obligations of the contracting parties, stated objectives and high-quality training; a mentor or supervisor must be allocated to assess the trainee’s performance at the end of the traineeship; the traineeship must have a specific duration and limits must be set on the length of traineeships with the same employer, and the contract should have clear provisions on coverage in social security systems and remuneration;
