Calls on the Commission and the Member States to increase the role of fishery and aquaculture products in their nutritional policies and programmes, in particular by boosting the image of fishers as stewards of the oceans by means of public information campaigns, by promoting their consumption among specific groups, such asof seafood among young people, or in programmes aimed at tackling specific nutritional deficiencies;
