Calls on the Commission to develop the influence of competition policy in the world, in particular by stepping up cooperation with the USA and China and by always seeking the inclusion of competition rules in EU free trade agreements and in the WTO; alerts the Commission on the paralysis it is facing as a result of being deprived of its Dispute Settlement Body;
