Calls on the Member States to ensure that information about victim support services and victims’ rights is accessible to health professionals, who are often initially contacted by women victims of gender-based violence and therefore, can play an enhanced role in identifying and channelling cases of violence against women; encourages the Member States to provide targeted trainings for health professionals, enabling them to identify cases of potential abuse and to encourage women victims to contact a competent authority;
