Welcomes the conclusion of the Fit for 55 legislative package, which delivers the measures to achieve and exceed the EU’s 2030 target and to put the EU and its Member States on a path to achieve climate neutrality by 2050 at the latest; stresses that the Fit for 55 package makes the EU a global leader in delivering concrete measures towards the achievement of the goals of the Paris Agreement; urges other parties to the UNFCCC to match this ambition and also turn commitments into concrete measures;
