Emphasises that it is vital for the public and businesses to have a high level of confidence in the security of supply of the power grid if they are to invest in electricity-dependent and climate-friendly technology; points out, with that in mind, that efforts to achieve a sufficient level of plannable fossil-free energy production should be made a priority;
