Notes that the private waste management sector plays a crucial role in strengthening the circular economy, representing 60% market share for household waste and 75% for industrial and commercial waste; calls on the Commission and the Member States to stimulate investments in and by the private sector to further incentivize sustainable waste management and support the demand for recyclates and products containing recycled materials;
