Welcomes the programme’s response to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, which severely disrupted the cultural and creative sectors even prior to the commencement of the current programme, but expects even greater and, above all, more binding cooperation with other EU programmes supporting the economic and social resilience of the cultural and media sector, including news media post-pandemic, so that Member States spend at least 2 % of the funds on the sector's recovery;
