Calls on the Commission to support Montenegro’s efforts to reduce unemployment, seriously impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, in particular in the tourism sector, that accounts, directly and indirectly, for more than 20% of Montenegro’s GDP; notes with concern that in the first eight months of 2020, the number of tourist arrivals to Montenegro decreased by almost 80% year-to-year due to travel restrictions and virus-related concerns;

Calls onWelcomes the Commission and the Council's decision to include Montenegro in joint EU procurement for vaccinations, and to allocate a sufficient amount of COVID-19 vaccines to the citizens of all Western Balkan countrie; calls on the Commission for a fair distribution of COVID-19 vaccines among the Western Balkan countries, taking into consideration each country’s pandemic situation and its individual needs;
