Considers it essential to keep within DG AGRI all competencies relating to the state aid used to promote the development of agricultural and forestry sectors and of rural areas, thereby ensurin order to coordinate all matters ing the expertise needed to addressis area in an expert manner, particularly in connection with the CAP, which is necessary in view of the specific nature of these sectors and the need for full consistency and in accordcompliance with the CAP.
