(1) Notes that the EU roaming regulation is a success story which particularly benefits citizens in border regions and more broadly facilitates the free movement of people; notes that EEA countries already apply the roaming regulation; encourages Switzerland to consider joining the roaming regulation as part of a new agreement between the EU and Switzerland to the benefit of both Swiss and EU citizens;
