Stresses that the rate of error can also be an indicator of the complexity of policies, identifying those areas in which further simplification is most needed; recommends, therefore, that the audit reports continue to give a clear breakdown of error rates for each pillar and, where appropriate, for each initiative, such as the eco-schemes, so as to ensure ongoing clarity about where further simplification is needed;
