The objectives of the common agricultural policy shall be: (a) to ensure agricultural self-sufficiency, by promoting technical progress and ensuring the rational development of agricultural production and the sustainable utilisation of the factors of production; [...] (da) to safeguard agricultural ecosystems; (e) to ensure a socially sustainable agriculture by promoting decent working and employment conditions. [...] (b) the need to effect the appropriate adjustments by degrees, to ensure a just transition;".deleted
