Europol shall support the Data Protection Officer in performing the tasks referred to in Article 41c by providing the resources and staff necessary to carry out those tasks and by providing access to personal data and processing operations, and to maintain his or hetheir expert knowledge. The related staff may be supplemented by an assistant DPO in the area of operational and administrative processing of personal data.
