Calls on the European Data Protection Board to publish guidance on how to interpret Article 88 in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to ensure data protection in the context of employment through platforms; encourages Member States to make full use of Article 88 to safeguard the human dignity, legitimate interests and fundamental rights of platform workers with particular regard to the transparency of data processing, the transfer of personal data and monitoring systems at the work place.
