Notes that mature forests should be given the attention they deserve, as they make a contribution to knowledge and health that we cannot deny to future generations; expresses its concern on the biodiversity loss occurring in several parts of the world due to climate change and recalls that the loss of biodiversity should also be a priority for the Union;
