Notes that family businesses often have a significantly higher equity ratio than non- family businesses and that this high equity ratio results in the economic stability of such businesses and of the economy as a whole, while at the same time providing scope for further investment in the business, which should not therefore be restricted; in this respect, stresses the need to ensure the equal treatment of equity financing compared to debt financing;
