Considers that, in view of Russian participation and cooperation in the EUFOR Chad operation, with Russia providing capabilities and personnel, it would be appropriate to give further consideration to ways of deepening EU- Russian and NATO-EU-Russian cooperation for the purposes of both crisis management and the development of defence capabilities;
