Po jednostronnym wycofaniu rosyjskiego personelu z Centrum Kosmicznego w Gujanie i odwołaniu dwóch startów Sojuza w kwietniu i wrześniu 2022 r., a także ogłoszonym opóźnieniu Ariane-6, Unia Europejska musiała znaleźć alternatywne rozwiązania, aby pilnie wznowić starty satelitów Galileo w celu zapewnienia prawidłowego działania systemu Galileo, który jest częścią unijnego programu kosmicznego. Dlatego też poparłam zalecenie w sprawie projektu decyzji Rady w sprawie zawarcia, w imieniu Unii, Umowy między Unią Europejską a Stanami Zjednoczonymi Ameryki ustanawiającej procedury bezpieczeństwa dotyczące startu satelitów Galileo z terytorium US.

Zdecydowanie poparłam rezolucję z uwagi na kilka bardzo pilnych spraw do uregulowania związanych z reagowaniem kryzysowym w UE.Parlament w rezolucji wzywa do natychmiastowej pomocy technicznej i finansowej dla regionów dotkniętych katastrofą oraz do uruchomienia Funduszu Solidarności UE (EUSF), jednocześnie apelując o zwiększenie tego budżetu.Parlament apeluje o wzmocnienie unijnego Mechanizmu Ochrony Ludności (UCPM) i zwiększenie jego budżetu oraz zdolności operacyjnych. Wzywa do utworzenia unijnej siły ochrony cywilnej i modernizacji infrastruktury ochronnej.Parlament rekomenduje również inwestowanie w rozwiązania przyrodnicze, takie jak odbudowa naturalnych terenów zalewowych, które pomagają łagodzić skutki powodzi i innych zjawisk klimatycznych.To moim zdaniem najpilniejsze sprawy, którymi musimy się zająć w kontekście ostatnich niszczycielskich powodzi w wielu krajach UE.

Głosowałam za uruchomieniem pomocy z Europejskiego Funduszu Solidarności, ponieważ ta pomoc jest potrzebna mieszkańcom regionów dotkniętych powodziami w ubiegłym roku. Mam jednocześnie nadzieję, że podobne uruchomienie pomocy w przypadku tegorocznych klęsk żywiołowych (jak np. powódź w Polsce) nastąpi dużo szybciej. Opowiadam się również za znacznym zwiększeniem środków w Funduszu Solidarności Unii Europejskiej.

Mam jednocześnie nadzieję, że podobne uruchomienie pomocy w przypadku tegorocznych klęsk żywiołowych (jak np. powódź w Polsce) nastąpi dużo szybciej. Opowiadam się również za znacznym zwiększeniem środków w Funduszu Solidarności Unii Europejskiej.
Moldova's resilience against Russian interference ahead of presidential elections, EU integration referendum
Zagłosowałam za rezolucją Parlamentu Europejskiego w sprawie wzmocnienia odporności Mołdawii na ingerencje Rosji przed nadchodzącymi wyborami prezydenckimi i referendum konstytucyjnym w sprawie integracji z UE.Jest to kluczowy kraj, z którego wyjechała prawie polowa młodych ludzi w poszukiwaniu pracy i lepszych warunków życia we Włoszech, Rumunii czy Francji. Kraj narażony na rosyjskojęzyczną manipulację i dezinformację płynące z mediów należących do rosyjskich oligarchów. Kraj, który stoi przed ważnym wyzwaniem geopolitycznym i gotowy jest zmienić konstytucje by pokazać, że jest częścią demokratycznej Europy.Dlatego jest niezmiernie ważne, by takimi rezolucjami wzmacniać poczucie niezależności tego kraju i dawać sygnał jego obywatelom, że są na dobrej ścieżce do pełnej integracji z krajami Unii Europejskiej.Jednocześnie wpieram Panią Prezydent Maie Sandu, której kadencja pozwoliła na wyraźne przyspieszenie rozmów akcesyjnych.
The democratic backsliding and threats to political pluralism in Georgia
Głosowałam za rezolucją, bo wiem jak ważne dla budowania prawdziwej demokracji są rządy prawa. W Polsce do 15 października ubiegłego roku władza łamała podstawowe zasady i wartości, na jakich opiera się funkcjonowanie zdrowego państwa. Wyrażam głębokie zaniepokojenie regresem demokracji w Gruzji i potępiam przyjęcie ustawy o przejrzystości wpływów zagranicznych oraz ustawy o wartościach rodzinnych i ochronie małoletnich, a także wprowadzenie zmian w ordynacji wyborczej. Są to znane w Polsce za rządów PiS narzędzia, które rząd wykorzystuje do naruszania wolności wypowiedzi, cenzurowania mediów, ograniczania krytyki ze strony społeczeństwa obywatelskiego i sektora organizacji pozarządowych oraz do dyskryminacji osób będących w trudnej sytuacji.

Warns that not all people are prepared for digitalisation, and that certain groups of people, especially the most vulnerable, could miss out onReiterates that the digitalisation is one of the important tools to reduce administrative burden and streamline applications for funding opportunities, and as such it shall be promoted, and the digital skills of people shall be strengthened; notes, however that not all people are prepared for digitalisation; insists therefore, that the lack of digital skills shall not be an obstacle to get information about and apply for funding opportunities as a result;

Sees that more work needs to be done for organisations and people to know about all the opportunities that the ESF+ can bring; insists that the Commission and the Member States raise awareness of, inform and advise organisations about the opportunities presented by the ESF+; sees that social services still face a significant knowledge and skills gap in accessing the current ESF+ and running EU-funded projects; calls on the Commission to allocate financial resources to build the capacity of not-for-profit social services and CSOs to make use of EU funds; considers, in particular, that the future ESF+ regulation should reserve a technical assistance budget to set up a network of national helpdesks, coordinated at cross-European level, in order to effectively deliver the training, guidance and support to organisations on- the-ground;
