Considers that, based upon the comprehensive evidence base, the Commission’s new Industrial Strategy should prioritise the economic recovery and citizens' welfare and opportunities, so as to underline the common commitment to rebuilding the Single Market and delivering benefits for all Member States and their citizens; believes that any adopted legislation or set of priorities should be preceded by impact assessments, particularly on potential costs and burdens for European companies, and should respect the “One- in, one-out” principle assumed by President Von der Leyen to cut red tape;
