RecallStresses the importance of the cCommon aAgricultural pPolicy (CAP) in terms of the budget and of its legacy to the history of the Union; recalls that the CAP is stillsupported by a well-funded budget; recalls the CAP's central importance to the history of the Union; notes the fundamental role that it plays in ensuring vibrant rural regions and a secure supply of food; notes that the upcoming reform of the CAP is an opportunity to strengthen the delivery of its objectives; highlights that the CAP is one of the most important and most integrated policies, and that it will continue to contribute to building Europe’s future;
