Emphasises that, even though there are more and more internet users, not all consumers have the opportunity or ability to use the internet, and therefore stresses the importance of different service models providing reliable and user-friendly information consolidated in a variety of formats and languages to European, National, regional and local stakeholders;

Believes that civil society, together with consumer organisations and businesses should further channel innovative solutions for the dissemination of single market information, enabling citizens to take full advantage of existing opportunities; Emphasises the importance of civil society in assisting citizens, consumers and SMEs, particularly those in the most vulnerable positions, such as young people or those without internet access to overcome the existing linguistic, technological and administrative barriers and restrictions in the Member States;
