Calls on the European Union and its Member States to adopt a hydrogen- specific support framework to ensure that the production of hydrogen vehicles is rapidly speeded up; considers that the framework should address the issues of increasing EU budget support for hydrogen end-use applications, the provision by Member States of support to hydrogen-specific deployment through financial measures such as tax incentives, and creating early markets through zero- emission vehicle procurement within governmental services;
