Calls for a comprehensive approach to fighting corruption based on prevention and repressive measures implying, inter alia, effective anti- corruption legal frameworks, the highest standards of transparency and integrity in all sectors of society, independent and impartial justice systems that effectively enforce anti-corruption legislation as well as effective, proportionate and dissuasive sanctions including the effective recovery of proceeds of corruption.
