Calls on the Commission, in the context of ongoing and future bilateral trade negotiations with third countries, to approach with the utmost care the liberalisation of market access in sensitive agricultural sectors and to consider transition periods, tariff-rate quotas, and appropriate safeguarding measures and the exclusion of the most sensitive products; notes that this predominantly concerns beef, other meat, rice, wheat, other cereals, sugar, and dairy products;
