Stresses that family businesses make a vital contribution to the success of vocational training reforms and to increasing the number of apprenticeships; points out that, in this connection, family businesses are very much dependent - as all businesses are - on a favourable political environment; states that the Commission should look into how vocational training systems should be designed in order to provide the best possible environment for family businesses to invest in apprenticeships;
