Deplores the fact that according to the 2019 report “Real rights of persons with disabilities to vote in European Parliament elections” of the European Economic and Social Committee, about 800 000 EU-citizens were unable to use their right to vote in the EU-elections; calls upon the European Parliament, the Council of the EU and the Commission to amend the electoral law of the elections to the European Parliament in a way that obliges all Member States to adapt voting stations to accommodate the needs of people with disabilities in order to render them fully able to cast their vote in the European Parliament elections;
