Calls for formal rights for all implicated parties in antitrust and cartel cases, with due stress on the principle of the presumption of innocence;

Stresses the importance to avoid monopolistic practices in order to achieve a fully fair and competitive European energy market, in this regard calls for the elimination of monopolistic suppliers and discriminatory practices on users. The European gas market shall tend to an Energy Union with fair and stable prices by improving the diversification of its energy sources and access to strategic infrastructures;
